Soccer field layout is not as hard to make as it may seem if you are only equipped with proper tools and tools that were required are not that expensive and hard to find. You can grab anything that seems necessary for you to use.

If tools were not handy, here are some suggestions:

Buy or find a couple of tape measure 300 feet in length. It is best if you have an extra 100 feet tape measure. You are also required to have at least 25 pieces of gutter spikes, 12 inches in length, a strong cord about 500 feet, have a kind of cord that doesn't stretch much, and cans of spray paint, the kind that has field-marking capability.

When planning to layout a soccer field in limited spaces like empty backyards, layout within the limit of the space leaving only a small area in the sides for overruns, and when lay-outing in an open field, you can make it as large as you wish.

The first step is establishing a base line either for a side or goal line. Put a cord along the whole length of the base line. By means of a 60'-80'-100' triangle, set up the next side of the field. Again stake the entire length with the cord. Repeat this procedure on the opposite end of the base line until forming a rectangle. To determine the center point, stake a cord from one corner of the rectangle up to the opposite side corner of the other end. Do this on the other side too. The spot in the center of the field where this two cords overlap is the center point. From these markers, you can determine now the penalty area, the goal box and other necessary points in the field. The spikes are for the temporary marking of points before painting and proper staking.

Lastly, be sure to have someone accompany you in laying down such stakes for I'm sure you would not bother run from one side to another if the markers needed some adjustments. Anyways, you'll only need a handful of tools and a pal to complete your soccer field layout.

They introduced the new method which is widely used in the transfer market at present. Let's call it the" Proxy Transfer Market War". This includes public statement of appreciation and admiration about a particular player (who is well settled in some other club) by members close to the club. This unsettles the poor player as he is also human and gets tempted away by the greatest riches in offer. The Adebayor saga is the prime example where our club Barcelona was also involved. Adebayor cannot be faulted for being tempted; but what it did to him is disastrous. Now he stands in a position where he has to desperately win back the fan's confidence. Gone are those days when the entire transfer dealing were kept secret and was broken out only when the deal is almost fixed. But now most of the clubs effectively use the media to unsettle rival clubs and players. Just half of these media driven transfer takes place leaving a very disgruntled player and club working together.

There is no point in questioning the morality of these actions as we all justify the actions of our favourite clubs. Who cares whether it's bad or good for football? But isn't it time for everyone to take notice of these facts? The difference in terms of wealth and hence quality between the bigger clubs and smaller clubs have been at its peak now. Now the leagues resembles something like the F1 race where the teams like Jaguar etc are there to make the numbers. One way we can very well welcome the acquisition of Manchester City as from next season onwards as it will break the club of big four in England and restructure it to be the club of big five. Manchester City has already showed their intentions by buying Robinho and already started their process of unsettling Ronaldo, Kaka, Buffon, Henry etc. In that sense Manchester City may become a savior for Barcelona if they continue their pursuit of Henry.

But is it good for football, I don't know for sure. But I do believe that these entire obsessions with stars are taking a toll in the youth systems of these clubs. Most of these clubs are discarding the youth academies, many smaller clubs who is having excellent youth academies may also follow the suit as they see more of their talents getting stolen away. The only solution may be the youth academies getting a part of these talented youngsters enumeration for some year's at least early on. But in all these mess Sepp Blatter and his proposed idea of limiting the number of foreign players may come as a savior. I have earlier written about my views on Sepp Blatter Proposals. I still believe if we can force the clubs to have a limited number of home grown talents in each playing eleven this could do wonders. This may resurrect the sleeping youth systems and will cut down the maddening rush after stars and we may see players staying in the club for more time and more over this should cut down expense which means lesser priced tickets for fans. Now how's that for a dream?

Suffering setbacks and heartbreak, the majority Latino team, in only three seasons and against all odds, emerged poised to win the state championship.

I am approaching the final year of coaching a team from the under 8's through to Under 16's, and during that time I have discovered the growth that players go through. both physically and also their mental approach and understanding of the game. It has been a great journey of discovery, and through substantial learning, both self help and formal education, I am now a firm believer in the "Principles of the Game" and how youth soccer formations fit in with the principles of the game. I will try to explain.

Lets say you have an 11 a side team and you decide on a 4-4-2 formation. So, our line up is:

1. One goalkeeper,
2. Four defenders (two central and two wide),
3. Four midfielders (again two central and two wide) and
4. Two strikers (mainly central).

With our 4-4-2 formation we have a game plan that is quite basic and yet very effective. Our tactics are to get the ball behind the defence to the wide midfielders who either cut in for goal or get to the byline and cut the ball back into the danger zone for the strikers and the opposing midfielder to have attempts on goal. This game plan is all well and good, and for the most part we follow it.

Generally speaking, our opposition will also have a game plan, and it could be entirely different to ours and have a different formation, so the question is

How do you respond to a team with a different formation?

The answer is of course it depends on a number of factors

1. The capability of your players
2. The capabilities of the opposition
3. The score of the game
4. The conditions
5. The amount of time left to play
6. The importance of the game

Here are a couple of scenarios for you to ponder.

1. You are 1-0 down in the cup final with 10 minutes to go
2. You are 1-0 up in the cup final with 10 minutes to go

With scenario 1, clearly we need to score a goal to at least stand a chance of either winning or going to extra time. So you need to evaluate the best way to score a goal, which is generally having more players pressing forward and shoot at every available opportunity. Also, you should consider the opposition, are there any relatively weak links in defence? So here is an example. The oppositions central defenders are very tall and good at defending high balls, so to get past the tall defenders, we could go out wide and cut the ball across the face of goal or thread through balls on the ground. It will be more effective than pumping high balls up the pitch, which will inevitably be cleared by the tall defenders. We also need more numbers in the box to take advantage of any balls in there, so we could simply change to a 3-4-3 and either have an attacker peel out wide to receive the ball down the flank and cross it to the other 2 strikers plus any midfielders that can get into the box or an attacker check back and make space out wide for the wide midfielder to exploit the width and cross the ball, low and hard into the danger zone.

So from this, you can see that by simple adaptation and slight change to the formation, we can exploit our strengths' and expose the oppositions weakness, or at least not play to their strengths. To do this I believe that you need to start of with a sound formation first, and have a complete understanding of your players, technical, physical and emotional attributes.

Conclusion

The 4-4-2 is the most widely used youth soccer formation in 11 a side competitions, and for good reason. It is easy for players to understand, both as a team formation, and also for individual roles within the formation. eg it is very easy to describe to a wide full back their position and role within the team. It is also easy to adapt and change. For instance by simply moving a central defender forward and tightening the remaining three defenders, you now have a 3-5-2 formation. You can progress this further by moving a midfielder to the forward line you now have a 3-4-3 formation. I think you get the picture!

What is it that causes our society to rush to view a woman like Beyonce falling down from a flight of stairs during a performance?

Why do we seem to crave that kind of news? It is like drawings of scorpions waiting to come alive. Beautiful women in competition recognize each other as the foe that might take their wanted crown, understood, but there is a mysterious symptom, that spews out jealousy, when we strain our necks to see a beauty, and to many a woman with a goddess post, fall.

Have you ever fallen down a flight of stairs? Has it been in front of thousands of people? Can you see that happening to you?

Lets just imagine it for a second.

YOU singing before thousands of people, dancing up on stage, performing your routine. You fall, and probably hurt yourself. Do you quickly pick yourself up, designate communications visually to your staff that you are OK? Do you, by barely missing a beat, continue your routine to convey to your audience that it was no big deal, that you are made of steal and quickly rise to your feet?

Beyonce falls, yes indeed she did. Ya know what though? I for one have a newly gained respect for this goddess post of hers. Beyonce exposed, yes oh yes she was. What to look forward to in 2009/ end of 08

There are a lot of games that will be coming out in 2009/end of 08 for PC gamers to look forward to. As this year's E3 companies such as Activision-Blizzard revealed their latest offerings for the PC gamer and while it may not be the bonanza it was in years passed there is still much to gossip about.

Here are some of the top games being released in 2009/ end of 08:

Rise of the Argonauts - Focusing on Greek myths, this offering from Liquid Entertainment promises to bring in characters and creatures from the most popular Greek myths and presents them in a format that allows for fast-paced combat and rich storytelling.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - This time around, the conflict escalates as the Empire of the Rising Sun enters the fray. With an entirely new faction, the game promises to be even more exciting and satisfying than any Red Alert title to date.

Crysis Warhead - Don the nanosuit of Sergeant Sykes, aka "Psycho," and experience a storyline parallel to the events of the original game.

Left 4 Dead - Using the Counter-Strike Source Engine, Left 4 Dead has a group of four unlikely heroes band together to battle hordes of infected.

Fallout 3 - After being cancelled at Interplay, this sequel to the cult post apocalyptic role-playing game was resurrected by Bethesda, where it is currently in development.

For me left for dead appears to be very promising as it has my all favourite mode of all time - COOP! The thought of battling it out with hundreds of monsters with friends is a very promising prospect. Coupled with the fact that it is being produced with the source engine makes this the highlight of E3 for me.

Crysis warhead will also have high expectations considering how much of a success its predecessor was. It will be interesting to see how Far Cry 2 compares to this title in terms of graphics and game play considering Crysis was supposed to be a sequel to far cry in the first place.

I will also be looking forward to Empire: Total War 3 as I always find this genre of PC game very enjoyable as well as the extra challenge that will come with 3D naval combat.

High school freshman, Zack Gilman, is so unhappy with his life - he can't bring himself to talk to the girl of his dreams, the school bully is out to make his life hell, and his father and his hyper-Minnesota Viking-fan friends are enough to embarrass Zack to death! Atlas

The Cartographer addon adds coordinates to Warcraft world map, but it also does a number of other cool things as well. In addition, it also shows unexplored locations on the map, which you may find pretty useful.

MobMap

Looking for lots of easy quest mobs? Then MobMap will prove indispensable. It adds the positions for all NPCs and the known mobs to your in-game map. MobMap also comes with quest and merchant databases. This map mod is also available in German.

QuestHelper

QuestHelper is another map mod that will help you out with questing. It adds all the waypoints for the quests in your quest log to your map and sorts them by shortest distance between quests in order to cut-down on how much walking you need to do between each quest. This will prove to be a real time saver.

MapMod v2 leveling addon

MapMod v2 is the only addon here that isn't free, but I'm including it because if you are interested in leveling fast, whether for Alliance or Horde, you are going to find it useful. It's made by the Team iDemise crew. Like Questhelper, it adds waypoints to the in-game map, but it does a lot more than that. It basically provides a leveling walk-through so you can just follow the arrows from one quest to the next. Also installed with it are step by step written instructions and hint and tips that are all accessible from both the Mini-map and the world map.
