Fourteen-year-old Zack Gilman is not what you'd call a happy kid. The mild-mannered son of the world's biggest Minnesota Vikings fan, he is doomed to spend his days being dragged to football games, where he's forced to sing fight songs and make bratwurst runs for his dad's boisterous posse. The problem is, Zack hates all organized sports. The other problem is, he's six-foot-three, weighs 250 pounds, and his dad sees him as the next Vikings football MVP. It starts out as an ordinary day at the Minnesota Metrodome. When Zack is nominated vice president in charge of bratwurst by his dad's football cronies, he grudgingly sets out on a food run, only to find himself caught in a freak snowstorm. Zack loses his sense of direction and literally stumbles upon a strange key-like object. The moment he picks it up, Zack find himself in another world, another time, and on an adventure he never bargained for.
Customer Review: A really fun book
High school freshman, Zack Gilman, is so unhappy with his life - he can't bring himself to talk to the girl of his dreams, the school bully is out to make his life hell, and his father and his hyper-Minnesota Viking-fan friends are enough to embarrass Zack to death! However, when Zack passes through a magical snowfall, he suddenly finds himself in another world, like 9th century Scandinavia, but complete with magic. And, to make matters even more amazing, this world is peopled by all of the people he knows, but cast in the role of Vikings! The only way back home is forward, to fulfill an ancient prophecy. But, along the way, Zack might just learn a little about himself, and the people he thought he knew. This is a really fun book. I liked the story and the characters and even the lesson. Heck, if you don't like lessons, then don't worry about it, it's a great story even if you ignore them. The story itself has lots of interesting dialogue and all that, plus nice battle scenes and magic. If you want a story about a high school boy who succeeds, then this book is for you!

Professions
Mining, Leatherworking, and Herbalism are the best professions for making the most money. With mining, farming ore, smelting it into bars, and selling it in the Auction House is the most profitable way to make money. Heavy Knothide Leather is the easiest leather to get and sells for top money, so it should be the one that you farm the most. Dreamfoil, Sungrass, and Icecaps are the most abundant and most profitable herbs to get without having a very high level in Herbalism.
Sell them Low
You have probably heard that to make the most gold in WoW you need to buy low and sell high. This is true, but you want to make sure you don't try to sell too high. You want your item to sell the first time you put it in the auction house because every time you place it in the AC it costs you more money.The guaranteed way to sell an item every time is to first take a look at your competitors. Note the lowest reasonable price for the item and place your auction at a few silver cheaper. Everyone likes a good deal, so your item will sell first, probably within hours of being placed in the AC.
Circuit Questing
Questing is one of the best ways to make gold. There are two main tricks you need to know to make questing work for you.
Circuit Questing Tip #1: Read over all of your quests for a particular zone. Look up the quests on Thottbot or Wowhead and note the map coordinates. Then, do all the quests that are close together at the same time.
Circuit Questing Tip #2: Only accept quests that offer a decent reward. Several gold or a piece of equipment that you can sell for several gold should be your goal. Get the mod called LootLink to help you figure out how much gold an item is worth.
