Chivas USA Squad Soccer T-Shirt

Country: USA #708336.SV Get into the red, white, blue, and gold with this cool Chivas USA squad tee

Based on the TV series, the Futurama video game has all your favorite characters, Bender, Fry, Lela, Professor Zoidberg and more, with voice overs from the original cast.

Gameplay:

The game starts out in the hangar at Planet Express as you play as Fry, on the look out for missing tools for Professor Zoidberg. Search the hangar, offices, corridors, avoiding electrical wires, perform some platform jumping, collecting cash and filling up on extra health from the "Slurm" vending machines, and find the hidden key card to unlock doors. Fry starts out with a hammer on this level, but works up to some cooler, more powerful guns throughout the game.

Head underground into the Sewers, where as Fry you have to kill mutants, underwater snakes with one eye, and pipe tentacles with your laser gun and avoid the deadly sewer canals whilst jumping over crates to cross to other areas. Shoot crates for cash and ammo.

Go through the Mine Facility as Bender, defending yourself against robots with his twirl attack, sliding lunge, collecting power-up crystals and avoiding the heat blades on the conveyor belt. In Run Bender Run, head into the mine shaft and run for your life to avoid a giant boulder coming up behind you, whilst jumping over caverns, collecting your crystals, and dodging barrels.

Or as "one-eyed" Leela in Market Square, you get to fight with your punch and kick attacks against skeletons, avoid the crazy bombers which will try and blow you up, solve codes in the puzzle rooms, by stepping on the correct tiled squares in sequence on the floor. Collect gold bars by destroying objects.

There are plenty more levels to explore, and when you reach the last level in Fry Fight's Back, you battle against the "Destructor", the big boss robot with his one arm missile launcher. Before you meet Destructor, you have to search through various corridors for the last lot of keycards. Dodge some spinning blades and gas vents, hide in the crevices as you dodge a couple of huge laser machine guns, destroy some half-bodied robots and work out some numbered codes to unlock your master laser weapon. You then meet the Destructor for the final showdown. He shoots missiles, lasers and then stands still while his stomach opens and you are attacked by flies. Avoid his firepower and get him in the belly where it hurts enough times and "yay", you've saved the planet and get to watch the final movie scene.

All up the game has 21 levels, there are heaps of items to collect throughout, find switches and credit cards to unlock doors, solve an array of puzzles, but more importantly, destroy the bad guys! Each character has their own weapon/attacks/health power-ups and you get to travel through some other amazing levels, from Red Rock Creek, Old New York, the Junkyard, Temple Courtyard, Red Light District and more. Other baddies include rock monsters, swordsmen, weasels, lava monsters, evil cactus, and sentry's to name a few. There's also plenty of slick Futurama-style humor to keep you laughing.

Extras: If you collect all nibblers (creatures in cages) in each level you also get to unlock movies, music and characters. There's a total of 20 minutes worth of unlocked movie footage never seen. You can also switch from first to third person view anytime during the game, and there are cameras for viewing other areas in each level.

Summary:

Number of Players: 1

Graphics:

Animated and resembles same as in the TV show. Good colour, with darker areas that set the scene.

Controls:

The controls are okay, but the side view movement can be a bit tight during the game when turning around.

Fun-factor:

9/10 - Overall, really enjoyed this game and there's a good variety of action and puzzle solving to get through. I would recommend this video game for kids and adults if you enjoy the Futurama TV show, as you'll definitely get some value out of it.

Romeo and Juliet Get Married

Shakespeare's tragic love story is given a sweetly romantic raucously fresh and inventive retelling by Bruno Barreto. Ophthalmologist Romeo is a passionately obsessed fan of the Corinthians football team and the same goes for his 21-year-old son and his feisty grandmother. While across town the lovely Juliet lives with her Italian-Brazilian family and whose father is an equally rabid fan and president of the fan club of Palmeiras the Corinthians' century-old arch rivals. Romeo and Juliet meet and fall in love. Romeo desperate to get in good graces with his future father-in-law decides to hide his affections for his team and fake a love for Palmeiras.System Requirements:Running Time: 90 minsFormat: DVD MOVIE Genre: DRAMA/LOVE & ROMANCE UPC: 880215104997 Manufacturer No: LIF-DV1049
Customer Review: If you loved My Big Fat Greek Wedding, you'll LOVE this film
I think Gary Dretzka of Movie City News (moviecitynews.com) said it best. "Studio types rarely seek my opinions on anything, unless it involves finding the men's room after a screening. Having just finished watched this thoroughly charming Brazilian import, however, I know one thing for certain: someone who makes a lot of money, somewhere, blew it. With a bit of help from the marketing gods, Bruno Barreto's charming adaptation of the Bard's most accessible tragedy might have captured a healthy slice of the same audiences that embraced Bend It Like Beckham, Shakespeare in Love and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Romeo and Juliet Get Married is just that irresistible. Here, the feuding families are rabid fans of rival teams in Brazil's club-soccer league. Juliet's father is a lawyer and chairman of Sao Paolo's real-life Palmeiras, and he named his daughter after two of the team's legendary players. A fine player, herself, the lanky brunette falls for the chief cheerleader of Palmeiras' arch-rivals, Corinthians. Despite not being able to maintain an erection in the vicinity of the Palmeiras banner in Juliet's bedroom, Romeo's infatuation demands that he convince her father he is a diehard fan. In his stubborn chauvinism and loud devotion to his team, Romeo's future father-in-law recalls restaurateur Gus Portokalos in Nia Vardalos' sleeper hit, My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Anyone who's read the Shakespeare tragedy even once could guess what happens next, minus the swordplay and vials of poison. (Juliet's dad and Romeo's grandmother do shed some tears, however.) Like so many other Brazilian comedies - Barreto also gave us Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands - Romeo and Juliet Get Married is sly, sexy and broad enough to appeal to those with only a passing interest in soccer. There's commentary, brief interviews, a music video and a making-of featurette."
Customer Review: One Wedding You Don't Want To Miss!
I really enjoyed this film. It is directed by the renowned filmmaker, Bruno Barreto, who is best known for his classic "Dona Flor And Her Two Husbands," as well as "Four Days In September." R&J is much closer to the farcical tone of Dona Flor. Using crazed sports loyalties as the source of conflict between the two rival families is a brilliant touch. Doing so keeps things light and fast paced with many laugh out loud moments. The acting is incredible, with Luana Piovani, as Juliet, the real knock out. I recommend this film to anyone who wants to laugh at the foibles of love and the absurdity of sports obsessions.

Of course the possibilities are endless but the downright answer to the question, which seems more realistic than living in fantasy land, is that she will never be popular if she was born poor. Remember that money these days buys everything except of course simple pleasures like sleep, peace and insight on things that are far valuable than fame, cars and late-night parties.

If it werent for her money, she could have been another insignificant person lurking around unnoticed but probably her life could have been more meaningful. She's a spoiled brat and everybody believes that, except maybe some young American girls who see her as an icon worth their adoration. She doesnt have a regard for other people. She wasnt able to finish high school and her popularity is focused on all the wrong sides. In short, if it werent for her money, she could have not even made it to Hollywood or anywhere near it because lets face it she has no talent, she's not the most beautiful person the world has seen and she's not blessed with a great body that teases all top models in the world.

Her popularity was only created by her highly-paid publicists plus her own talent on getting everybody's attention, regardless if she is being scrutinized or being loved.

She could never be popular if she were poor. Like all of us who, at one point of our lives, have dreamt to become famous or at least have the money that she was gifted with. And like all of us, it would take colossal effort before we can actually gain other people's regard. She, however, got all of these hassle free, without the slightest effort.

How many of us have to break our necks in work just to get through a day? How many of us have been toiling for ages just to create a better life than what we have? And how many of us have to develop ourselves into the ultimate working machines just to be noticed by the world.

We work so hard just to get promoted in our jobs. Sometimes, we spend even our unpaid hours for the sake of producing plausible accomplishments to advance our careers. Some people in other parts of the world work just to get by a lunch with the hanging doom of not eating for the next supper. And there are ordinary sons and daughters who turn themselves into modern age slaves just to help their parents with the finances.

There are countless faces in Hollywood who have to start writing hundreds of screenplays before they ever get the chance to be recognized, some even have to endure a lifelong failure to become a writer in a Hollywood film. And there are hundreds of other starlets who have got all the talents, the looks and the right attitude but never had the breaks. But Paris Hilton is a rare species. She no longer needs to undergo all the pains of hard work and she no longer have to wait for the break to come.

She can buy her own way into Hollywood and she could make her own break grounding chances, even if it means that she has to expose herself in Hollywood without a single strand of dignity on her back. And yet, with all her privileges, she seems to have forgotten how it means to become a human. Understandably, she will never understand the life of the poor and hardworking people but if she is lucky, she may have a glimpse of some painful realities that will spank her right on her face. And yet, even her personal realizations seem like a farfetched hope for all those concerned.

If she were born like most of us, little people as the elites call us, she may not have even get a peek at a Hollywood studio. All she has to settle with is the chance to at least see her favorite stars on movies and television and occasionally on lives shows. But unless she works really hard, to the point that she is all but spent because of labor, she may never have the chance to become the person she is now.

She is Paris Hilton because she has money. And this same money makes her famous. Take her fortune away then she's just another person trying to live a daily life in simplicity but with greater meaning.

Got Beckham? Soccer Ball Logo Men's tee Shirt in 12 colors Small thru 6XL

Brand new item.

When turning forty it seemed that I was assaulted by the phrase "forty is the new twenty." It was especially targeted at women since advertisers seem to assume that we are more susceptible to these messages than men. I first heard this proclamation when Demi Moore turned 40 and pictures of her in a bikini were on all the newsstands. Like many women in their mid-thirties, I hit the gym a little harder hoping to have a body like Demi when we turned 40.

Years later, we had to face everything we knew to be true about time and gravity. We women were still all for staying in shape, but we had to acknowledge the reality of trying to look twenty at forty. It is at best, overly optimistic, and at worst, borderline neurotic.

Around this time women were given a new outlook on this pitch of forty being the new twenty when Demi and the much younger Ashton Kutcher became an item. Maybe we don't need to look twenty we all thought, maybe we can just act twenty. This brief fantasy didn't feel right either. For most of us there are too many responsibilities at forty that don't allow us to act like we're twenty. Although women with reliable baby sitters did get a few Saturday nights of acting twenty.

So if we didn't want to look or act twenty, we needed to ask ourselves "What is so great about twenty that anyone would want to recreate it at forty?" Aside from looking good in those skinny jeans that have made an unfortunate comeback, most women I know couldn't think of anything. When we were twenty we worried about what nearly everyone thought about us. By age forty our list of people whose opinions we cared about was very small, and filled only with people that would say kind things about us.

Somewhere along the line, Demi Moore also seemed to find that there is a freedom to being in your forties that you don't have in your twenties. Photos of her in glamorous clothes at Hollywood hot spots were replaced with photos of her in a ball cap driving her kids to soccer games. Of course this new look meant that she was photographed a lot less, but I guess she crossed the paparazzi of her list of people to impress about the same time we crossed off the women who go to gym wearing make-up and designer work-out clothes.

So after quite a bit of reflecting, I feel comfortable saying that women don't want forty to be the new twenty. We wouldn't mind a few less wrinkles and other trivial perks that come with being twenty, but we wouldn't trade the lessons and the joys that graced us during the years between twenty and forty. I'd like to think that we are wiser at forty than we were at twenty. The true test is if we have learned to enjoy whatever age we happen to be and not waste a moment trying to go backwards.

Evil

Greece s first zombie movie this apocalyptic bloodbath a veritable low-budget epic puts its tremendous energy towards creating a crowd-pleasing splat-stick gore comedy.System Requirements:Run Time: 83 minsFormat: DVD MOVIE Genre: HORROR Rating: NR UPC: 807839002638 Manufacturer No: TLAD167
Customer Review: Feta zombies!
To Kako (Yorgos Noussias, 2005) Well, I guess it was inevitable that every country on the planet would eventually try its collective hand at making a zombie movie. This one comes from Greece, which I've always thought of as a land of olive-skinned bathing beauties, feta cheese, and excellent seafood. Now, it seems, it's also a land of the undead. It's got your basic zombie-movie plot-- all the sudden, there are zombies everywhere in Athens, and a small band of survivors have to fight them off. The difference between To Kako and so many other low-budget zombie flicks is that it's actually a comedy, but at least someone behind the camera was taking things seriously; there's enough well-done gore here to satisfy all but the most jaded of gorehounds, while the dialogue is rapid-fire witty. Still, you can tell it's a low-budget production; very few of the actors have any credits at all, and in the true Romero tradition, at least half the cast are also members of the crew. It's a labor of love, and it's certainly not a bad one. I've seen many worse zombie movies, some in the past week. This one's a great deal of fun, as long as you go into it not expecting brilliance. ***
Customer Review: First greek zombie flick ever...
Evil is the first ever greek horror film which deals with...zombies and because i'm a zombie fan and also a greek u can imagine my happiness when i heard about this movie so i went straight and watched it in a greek theater with many expectations but unfortunately although it was a nice try it had nothing to do with the superb romero series and it suffered with the disease that all greek productions are suffering. The lack of experienced actors but that's another topic. Anyways, if u are a zombie fan check this out BUT i warn you u will be tired as time passes by. There are some good scenes like the last one with the soccer field but that won't save the movie. A Cult movie because it's the first ever greek zombie flick but it will never be a classic one.

An introduction

Team iDemise is a gaming team with quite the reputation in FPS gaming. But this doesn't necessarily mean a thing when it comes to fast leveling in MMORPGs. So I purchased the guide with some skepticism.

I was quite pleasantly surprised to find my initial doubts groundless. iDemise's claim that their iDemise leveling guide on the market isn't just a boast-at the very least, they are a serious contender for the title. Find out why in this iDemise guide review.

The method

Anyone with even a bit of common sense knows that leveling in Warcraft is best done by questing. Even mediocre questing will result in far better experience gain than grinding mobs for hours. Superior players may even be able to plot out a questing course, and increase their leveling speed even more. Superior players who have done the quests many times can no doubt level even faster, with even better leveling routes.

The Team iDemise Leveling Guide makes you the equivalent of a superior player with multiple 70s. At no time did I find myself thinking "Wouldn't doing XXX before XXX be faster?" as I often have using other guides, such as Brian Kopp's Alliance Leveling Guide or Joanna's Horde Leveling Guide.

Now, you may be skeptical. "Ok, so I know what order to do them in. But I still don't know where everything is." Like other popular guides, the iDemise guide makes liberal use of map coordinates. And like a few others, they provide an addon to help out.

The Addon

The addon provided with the iDemise guide is really nice. I personally found it much more effective than any competitor's addon. Unlike other guide's mods, which usually just toss a load of coordinates on your map and say "good luck", this one includes everything you need to level, from directly in the game.

The entire guide is available to you. Not only the leveling guide, and a coordinate system, but built-in systems to make sure you are optimizing your character for leveling, with tips on Talent Builds and such. Really helpful to players new to the game or maybe just new to the class.

To conclude

I hope this iDemise guide review has given you some help in determining whether it is worth your time and money. If you want to see how it compares to other popular leveling guides, check out my comparison review over at Squidoo.

Shock Doctor Hockey Chin Cup

I purchased the XBOX 360 version of this game on the date of its release, and I actually played this anime game for over 5 hours as soon as I got home. The reason why is very simple, this game can be summed up in one word and that is, amazing. This is definitely not your everyday run of the mill fighting game.

The most amazing aspect of this game is the fact that they have taken actual footage and clips from the Dragonball Z series, and animated it into a cell-shaded work of art. This game also has the advantage that most of the voices are from the original series, with the addition of Vegeta being voiced by Christopher Sabat and not Brian Drummond. This is not exactly a problem as Sabat did voice over 200 episodes, whilst Drummond did about 50. But as simple as this touch is, it is something that many anime games fail to implement.

The game play is also simple and easy to use, and you can even equip cut scenes that can help you during the battle. For example, in the Saiyan saga, you can equip Kururin (Krillin in the UK), and he will aid you in your attack once you have reached all the requirements. These requirements can range from dealing X amount of damage, to taking off X life bars whilst you yourself have two.

This game is ridiculously pretty and extremely well made, though I was annoyed at the absence of the Buu Saga. The Buu Saga was the final chapter in the Dragonball Z saga, and I'm not entirely sure how you can call it a Dragonball Z game when it lacks all the sagas from that series. I mean, it even includes the stupid Brolli saga, but neglects to include the Buu saga which would have introduced to us all the fusion characters.

The reason this is also an issue is because it means that the next game they bring out can't be a Dragonball Z game, only a Dragonball game, or a GT game, which if they were to included the Buu Saga in this, then that would be incorrect as these series' are about 15 years apart. For none fans, this may not be an issue, but it is a huge contingency error, and they would in fact do better to miss the Buu Saga out all together, which would be a huge shame as it is in fact one of the coolest.

So if you like the Dragonball Z anime series, you should love this game, as it brings you everything a fan could want.
